Westlake Village runs on a Wednesday WM schedule, but the operational reality is dominated by gates. Lake Sherwood, Westlake Island, North Ranch (the WLV side), First Neighborhood, and Three Springs all have guard-shack entry. The trash truck has a master access list. So do we.
Inside Lake Sherwood, bins go out the night before — and "out" means at the end of the driveway, not the curb itself, because Lake Sherwood roads don't have public curbs. WM picks up driveway-end. Bins back inside the property line by 5pm same day or you get a CC&R letter the next morning.
Westlake Island's rules are even tighter. CC&Rs require bins inside the bin enclosure (not just the property line) by sunset Wednesday. The board does drive-bys.
