When WM bumps Wednesday to Thursday for a holiday week, every gated WLV community has to update its access manifest by Wednesday midnight or the truck gets bounced at the guard shack Thursday morning.
We've watched it happen. Memorial Day week 2024, a third of Lake Sherwood's bins didn't get picked up because the master access list still said Wednesday and the guard sent the truck away.
The fix is on us, not the guard or the truck. We coordinate with each community's HOA office the Friday before any holiday week to update the manifest in advance. That way the make-up Thursday route gets through the gate without delay.
